A brand new thriller drama series is starting tonight on Irish telly and it looks like we’re going to be addicted.
Especially if you’re a Line of Duty fan!
Vicky McClure, who appeared in the BBC crime drama, will star in Trigger Point, the brand new series will hit Virgin Media tonight!
Set in contemporary London, Trigger Point is a high-octane six-part thriller series focusing on the Bomb Disposal Squad. Known as “Expo”, the officers risk their lives daily on ‘the long walk’ towards danger.
Vicky McClure plays front line officer Lana Washington, who is an experienced bomb disposal operative. However, she is reckless and out of control after leaving the military.
She is pushed to breaking point dealing with a series of improvised explosive devices which threaten the capital during a terrorist summer campaign.
Under extreme pressure and searching for answers, Lana can’t help but become suspicious that the bomber’s targets on her team are premeditated. It’s a terrifying thought, but against all odds how does she prove it and discover the bomber’s real identity?
Trigger point kicks off on 1st September at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player
