The VIP List: Here’s what we’re loving this week

We’re definitely getting into the autumn months now as the weather has definitely turned colder.

But that doesn’t mean that we don’t have plenty to love this week.

Here’s what we’re loving…

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…looking bronzed

As the sun has decided to retire for the summer, it’s going to be harder to keep the bronze going!

One of my favourite brands, et al., has unveiled its new Versatile Bronze Shade + Sculpt, a refillable, talc-free powder bronzer designed to deliver natural-looking warmth and definition with a soft-focus matte finish that wears like skin.

Unlike traditional powder bronzers, the skin-first formula is enriched with squalane, aloe vera leaf powder and vitamin E to help keep skin comfortable while creating a smooth, refined finish without emphasising texture. The refillable compact also forms part of et al.’s ongoing commitment to more responsible beauty.

Deputy Editor Michelle is loving…taking the plunge for a good reason

Stonechat Jewellers is inviting people of all ages to take a refreshing dip for a great cause by joining its second annual Aware Sea Swim at Seapoint Beach, Monkstown, on Sunday, 30th August. The feel-good community event aims to raise awareness of mental health while supporting Aware, the national charity providing free Support, Therapy, Education and Information to people affected by depression, bipolar and anxiety.

More than just a sea swim, the event is about bringing people together, starting conversations around mental health and celebrating the positive impact that nature, community and the sea can have on our wellbeing. Participants can enjoy a gentle dip, meet friends old and new and experience the uplifting atmosphere that has made sea swimming one of Ireland’s fastest-growing wellness activities.

The annual swim forms part of Stonechat Jewellers’ long-standing partnership with Aware. Since 2018, Stonechat has raised an incredible €83,000 for the charity through its exclusive Stepping Stones and Moving Tides jewellery collections.

I love a matcha! Over the weekend, I headed over to Carlingford for a morning in the sea and the sauna.

And I had to pop into Céilí, a new café in the heart of the town. I opted for an iced matcha and an apple cruffin.

It’s safe to say it was one of the best matchas I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to visit again.
