Feathers are forever!

And Laura Whitmore has just proven that as she walked the red carpet in the Big Apple this week.

The Bray native attended the GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday night.

She rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Sophie Turner and Kelly Rowland.

Laura looked like a vision as she walked the red carpet in a black mini-dress with feather details and a sweetheart neckline from designer Magda Butrym.

Of course, with the temperature drop, Laura opted to add a pair of sheer black tights to ward off the chill. We all do it! There’s no surprise that she added a pair of her beloved platform heels to pull the entire look together.

She added some subtle bling with a pair of drop earrings from JW ANDERSON.

She couldn’t walk the red carpet without championing some Irish design. She pulled her signature blonde locks into a slicked-back bun, however, she elevated the look with this season’s hottest accessory –  a bow.

The simple black bow was from Irish designer Simone Rocha.

As for her makeup look, she went for a vampy look with a smokey eye that framed her piercing blue eyes along with a bold red lip.

“New York is always a good time,” she wrote.

Laura Whitmore has been busy as of late. Earlier this year, she shared the exciting news about her new investigative show, Laura Investigates.

She made her West End debut in the critically-acclaimed psychological thriller 2:22. She hosts her own podcast with her husband Iain Stirling.

Her schedule is so packed that Laura made the tough decision to step down from her BBC Radio 5 show during the summer before announcing that she would also be leaving her hosting duties on Love Island. Maya Jama will be stepping into the role in the new year.
