Dublin is rolling out the red carpet for movie star Florence Pugh as she is set to attend the Irish premiere of The Wonder tonight!
Florence has officially touched down in Dublin and is out and about for pints of Guinness!
Sharing a snap of her Guinness with the caption “Ello ello Dublin” on her Instagram story we can see she is already enjoying herself before she walks the carpet alongside her castmates including Niamh Algar, Elaine Cassidy, and Kíla Lord Cassidy at tonight’s premiere at The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield.
The film was shot in Ireland and is based on Irish author Emma Donoghue‘s novel. It sees Florence Pugh playing an English nurse who comes over to Ireland in 1823, 13 years after the Great Famine.

Florence’s character comes to Ireland to examine a young girl who claims to have not eaten in four months. The film and book are actually based on the true story of the “Fasting Girls” phenomenon.
While filming in Ireland, Florence was sharing some quality content on Instagram, from the Hollywood (Wicklow) sign, to enjoying a pint of Guinness. She also shared how thankful she was to be welcomed so warmly on her Instagram stories saying at the time, “I can’t tell you how gorgeous everyone is, every single person I interact with is lovely and so helpful…Everyone is so kind and ready to just have a good time with you. So, thank you Ireland for being so generous and welcoming.”
We wonder if Flo will stop in for another Guinness after tonight’s premiere, if you’re out and about in Dublin, keep an eye out!
