Reality tv heavyweight Big Brother is coming to Irish television – it’s just been announced that TV3 will air the controversial series for the first time ever.
Big Brother: Timebomb kicks off on Tuesday May 12 at 9pm on 3e with a simulcast on TV3 from 10pm-11pm. In total, 200 hours of the hit Channel 5 series, hosted by Emma Willis, will be aired across TV3, 3e and 3Player.
As well as this, the spin-off series Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, presented by the X Factor’s Rylan Clarke, will air nightly on 3e straight after the main show.
The show is set to be extra explosive this year – producers predict a “thrilling and mischievous series” with a Mad-Men-influenced, ’60s-style decor for the new house and Big Brother playing with time during tasks and secret missions to create tension between the housemates, who are described as “eccentric, entertaining and unique”.
It’s been reported that former housemates could re-enter the famous house – and here at VIP Towers we’re crossing our fingers that some of these will include our favourite Irish contestants from previous years.
