Barry Keoghan’s rising star has turned into a meteor!
He went from a cat killer on Love/Hate to a bat killer as he took on the role of The Joker in The Batman.
Now he has revealed his latest role.
Barry shared a shot of the front of the script for Saltburn with the caption, “Let’s make a feckin movie!!”
He then sent hearts racing as he posed for a selfie with Euphoria and The Kissing Booth hunk Jacob Elordi.
The pair were soaking up the sun as they prepped to start filming the new flick. He simply tagged the Australian actor in the shot next to a love heart emoji.
Barry and Jacob will star alongside Gone Girl’s Rosamund Pike, with Oscar winner Emerald Fennell penning the script and directing the film.
While details of the film have been kept under lock and key, Saltburn has been described as a story about obsession centred on an aristocratic English family.
We have no idea when the film will premiere but filming is set to start in the coming days.
Barry has plenty of work coming up as we’ll see him next in Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin alongside Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.
Barry and Brian will join the series as new characters Jonny and Tadgh, so it looks like they will be sticking to their Irish roots at least!
