Last night saw The Late Late Show honour legendary Irish singer Shane MacGowan with a special musical rendition of the show.
Shane himself was the star of the show, and was joined in studio by his wife and sister, as well as big names such as Glen Hansard, Pat Shortt and Philomena Begley.
The Pogues frontman revisited the highs and lows of his career, before performing his classic Christmas song, Fairytale of New York.
Some very famous faces who couldn’t make it on the night however, were contacted by RTE, who put together a star studded video of tributes to the 61-year-old.
Hollywood actor Liam Neeson, famed musician Paul Simon and Love/Hate star Tom Vaughan Lawlor all said a few words about their good friend, as part of what was an amazing show dedicated to the Tipperary man.
