Suzanne Kane is back on the airwaves for the first time since her departure from 98FM last year.
The presenter previously co-hosted the mid-morning show alongside Brian Dowling from 10am to 1pm, before both stepping away from the programme.
Their exits last summer generated significant conversation at the time, with much speculation around the sudden shake-up of the popular show.
Now, after more than a year away from radio, Suzanne has made a surprise return, stepping in to cover for Louise Cantillon on Today FM.

Sharing the news on Instagram, she confirmed she will be on air from 12pm to 2pm for the week, posting a light-hearted video of herself catching headphones and a microphone from her husband Joey as she prepared to go live.
“I’ll be in covering for the gorg Louise Cantillon 12 – 2PM Tuesday through till Friday. So let’s have lunch and catch up,” she wrote.
Her return was quickly met with reaction from listeners and radio colleagues, with DJ Dec Pierce writing: “I opened this app for some good news. I found some epic news. Day. Made.”
Suzanne announced her exit from 98FM in June last year, after previously taking a break from the station earlier in the year.

“To everyone who listened to the show. I loved sharing my life and my kids with the soundest listeners on 98FM.
“We’ve been through a lot together & thank you for always turning up for me, it means more than any of you will know.”
You can catch Suzanne all this week on Today FM from 12-2pm.
