Doireann Garrihy is preparing to return to 2FM after welcoming her daughter, Rosie, towards the end of last year.
She will be returning to the radio in a brand new radio slot.
2FM Morning with Doireann Garrihy sees Doireann return to the schedule with a brand-new earlier programme at 10am, where she will bring engaging conversation and her unmistakable Irish humour to her two-hour show.
She will also be heading off on tour with her podcast, The Laughs of Your Life, over the summer as well.
Now she has opened up about how her life is “chaotic” as she starts her return to work with her first child.
“I’m not back on radio till May and the tour, The Laughs of Your Life tour, isn’t until May,” she explained on her Instagram Stories.
“So I’m in that weird in-betweeny time where I’m not technically back to work, but I am.”
She went on to say: “There’s so much to be done now in order for everything to work out well in May.
“So it’s just a bit chaotic trying to juggle. The juggle is real.”
Doireann shared the news of her 2FM show on social media earlier this month.
She enthused: “2FM MORNING with Doireann Garrihy on @rte2fm – I like the sound of that!
“After 10 years of radio, it’s an honour to be given the opportunity to steer the ship at the iconic mid morning slot. Tune in weekdays from 10-12 from Tuesday 5th May. I cannot wait to spend my mornings with you discussing some serious and very unserious topics. Let’s go.”
