All of the stars of TV3 gathered at the Aviva Stadium today for the Autumn schedule launch.
Among those in attendance were Xpose’s Glenda Gilson and Peter O’Riordan, Midday’s Elaine Crowley, The 7 O’Clock Show’s Lucy Kennedy and Martin King and new gameshow ‘Wishlist’ host Brian Ormond and his fashionista wife Pippa O’Connor.
Highlights for this season on the broadcaster include coverage of the Rugby World Cup, with Peter Stringer, Keith Wood, former Leinster and Ireland flanker Shane Jennings and Malcolm O’Kelly all providing expert analysis, the return of Red Rock tonight, and rights to huge UK shows such as X Factor, Celebrity Big Brother, Downton Abbey, Britain’s Got Talent and Broadchurch, as well as Channel 4’s The Undateables.
VIP is particularly excited to check out Brian’s return to our screens for Wishlist, which has a “new international format” that sees couples playing to win the prizes of their dreams visualised in studio on a large LED floor. He previously presented Lotto show Big Money Game, which was axed by RTE. His new show airs in the New Year and we wish him the best of luck.
Other exciting news is Pamela Flood presenting a brand new series called Geriatric Mums – she recently hit back at Internet trolls who say she’s old to be pregnant at 44.
