
July is here!
While we’re sure we’ll be spending most of the month outside and soaking up the sun, there is a lot to be said for a good cinema date…or a binge!
Here’s what we’ll be watching this month…
Elle
Before Elle Woods was a fish-out-of-water at Harvard, we meet her in 1995 as a fish in the tumultuous waters of high school where she encounters tricky friendships, forbidden romance, and questionable fashion choices.
Along the way, Elle learns how to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations, stoking a curiosity that helps her unravel a mystery that touches all aspects of her life including her family, ultimately igniting a lifelong passion for justice.

Moana
Disney’s live-action reimagining of the beloved Oscar-nominated animated adventure, Moana.
This time Catherine Lagaʻaia plays Moana and answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.

Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West!
This fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.

The Hawk
Will Ferrell will have us in stitches with his new series.
Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins has been making his rounds – from the World Golf Hall of Fame in Pinehurst, NC to The Big Apple, making waves in the Hamptons and surprising fans at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.
Now, after a scorching first leg of the tour, Lonnie heads to the back nine.

Furious follows an FBI agent, Alice Black (Emmy Rossum) on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer. Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur.
The series stars Emmy Rossum, Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy.

Heartstopper Forever

Ride or Die
Ride or Die follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Octavia Spencer) and Judith Burton (Hannah Waddingham) who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin.
When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together.
It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels.

The Odyssey follows Odysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, on his long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War, chronicling his encounters with mythical beings such as the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and the nymph Calypso, while attempting to reunite with his wife, Penelope.
The film stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson…just to name a few!

Silo returns for its third season on Apple TV+.

Anya Taylor Joy stars in this mini series that everyone will be talking about.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe
Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon.
Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke.
Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from “The Big Bang Theory.” As the title implies, things don’t go well.
