Maroon 5 at Malahide Castle: Everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s gig

It’s been more than a decade since Maroon 5 last played Dublin, but the wait is finally over as Adam Levine and co. return to Ireland for a huge headline show at Malahide Castle tonight.

If you’re lucky enough to have tickets, here’s everything you need to know before heading to Malahide.

What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 5pm, with the show getting underway from 6pm.

As always, stage times are subject to change, so concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early.

Who are the support acts?

Before Maroon 5 take to the stage, fans will be treated to performances from British singer-songwriter Jess Glynne and French-American pop duo VOILÀ.

Are tickets still available?

Yes, there are still tickets available through Ticketmaster.

Prices range from €69.90 to €89.90, excluding Ticketmaster service charges.

Expected setlist

While the official setlist for the Dublin show hasn’t been confirmed, fans can expect plenty of the band’s biggest hits based on recent performances, including:

  • Harder to Breathe
  • This Love
  • Sunday Morning
  • Makes Me Wonder
  • One More Night
  • Animals
  • Maps
  • Sugar
  • Girls Like You
  • Memories
  • She Will Be Loved
  • Moves Like Jagger
  • Payphone

…along with tracks from their latest album, Love Is Like.

Getting to Malahide Castle

Those travelling by public transport have plenty of options.

The DART is one of the easiest ways to reach the venue, with Malahide Station located around a 15-minute walk from the castle grounds. Services run from Connolly, Tara Street, Pearse and Grand Canal Dock stations.

Dublin Bus routes H2, 42 and 102 (from Dublin Airport) also serve Malahide, while several private coach operators, including Irish Concert Travel, JJ Kavanagh and Marathon Coaches, will be running dedicated concert services.

What can I bring?

Concertgoers are permitted to bring:

  • One sealed plastic bottle of water or soft drink (up to 500ml)
  • Empty reusable water bottles, which can be filled at free water stations inside the venue

What isn’t allowed?

Fans should note that bags larger than A4 size are not permitted.

Other prohibited items include:

  • Umbrellas
  • Glass bottles or cans
  • Flags and flagpoles
  • Professional cameras and recording equipment
  • Disposable vapes

Anyone arriving with restricted items may be refused entry.

What will the weather be like?

The forecast is looking promising, with sunshine expected for much of the day alongside some scattered showers.

Temperatures are set to reach around 19°C, so while sunglasses may come in handy, packing a light rain jacket wouldn’t be the worst idea either.

Whether you’re hoping to hear classics like This Love and She Will Be Loved or newer favourites from Love Is Like, it’s shaping up to be a memorable night as Maroon 5 make their long-awaited return to Dublin.
