After spending the last couple of months living the high life in America, following his fight with Chad Mendes in July, Conor McGregor has decided to return home to Ireland.
The fighter had only recently admitted that he couldn’t wait to come back to Ireland. Speaking at the GO BIG press conference he admitted, “I cannot wait to go home and touch my home soil. I miss my hometown.”
Conor was finally given an opportunity to come home, and was greeted by hundreds of fans in Dublin airport last night.
The 27-year-old, was very clearly delighted to be back on his home turf, and posed for pictures with his fans.

Speaking to The Sun today, Conor said, “It feels good to be home, that is all I know. It’s been a lot of work, a lot of travelling. I haven’t seen my family and friends in a long time.”
The Notorious is going to use this time off to rest and catch up with his loved ones, before of course get straight back to into training.
“I am going to go home and see my family, put my feet up and enjoy my success and then go back to work. There is still more to do, I am preparing to go to war here. It’s still good to be home, I cannot wait to feel that fresh air,” he said.
The fighter continued, “I am going to go home. I have a house now, and I am going to see that house as well, and unwind. I am going to go back to the gym, that I love, the gym that I miss. That’s it – home, rest, eat, train, home.”
Well it’s good to have him back!
