Colin Farrell is set to receive a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame and it’s about time if you ask us!
Yes, the 2025 class was announced this week, where more than 30 new stars will be added to the Walk of Fame in the categories of motion pictures, television, live theatre/live performance, radio, recording and sports entertainment.
Joining Colin include major celebrities like the late Prince, Jane Fonda, Jessica Chastain, Bill Nye, Alan Cumming and more.
Honorees have two years after they are chosen to set a date for their ceremonies.
However, it’s our Catleknock native, Colin that we’re more interested in!
This year already, the Irish actor has been confirmed for a new true crime film entitled Belly of the Beast, directed by All of Us Strangers’ Andrew Haigh.
While he’s also set to star in a romantic fantasy A Big Bold Beautiful Journey opposite Margot Robbie.
Not to mention, the Dubliner will begin filming the gambler drama Ballad of a Small Player opposite Tilda Swinton later this summer.
Speaking about this year’s honourees, Peter Roth, Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee said: “The Walk of Fame has made history again! I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025.
“Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields.
“The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway.”
Congrats Colin!
