She was a blushing bride in her bespoke gown from Sharon Hoey.
She opened up about the sentimental meaning behind choosing her designer.
And that was not the only sentimental piece she wore on her wedding day.
She kept the “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” tradition.
She revealed her “something borrowed” was a tiara from her mother. She shared a throwback snap of her mum of her wedding day on August 15th, 1987.
She was celebrating their anniversary, posting pictures of their wedding day on social media.
She also revealed: “I wore this same tiara on my wedding day. All the women in our family have worn it. Grandad bought it back in the 70s for my godmother.”
Zara previously opened up about the significance of her wedding dress.
Taking to Instagram, she explained: “For everyone asking about the dress, it’s bespoke @sharonhoey. There was nobody else I would’ve bought my wedding dress from. Sharon is the kindest human and an absolute joy to be around.”
And now Sharon has shared a sweet connection to Zara and her husband, Cian.
The designer shared a picture of the sketch of Zara’s wedding dress next to a picture of the completed dress as the Virgin Media News presenter walked down the aisle with her husband.
And Sharon even shared the sweet connection she has to the couple.
“Over the years we’ve enjoyed working with @zaraking.news at numerous events. When we first met Zara, she had just started dating the lovely Cian. It’s been charming to watch their love blossom,” she wrote.
“It was our pleasure to be entrusted with the design of Zara’s bespoke wedding dress. We’ll miss our fittings with this special lady. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.”
