We’ve all had moments where our dad has made us cringe.
Even Eve Hewson has had that experience.
Yep, even Bono can have “embarrassing dad” energy…we never thought that we’d see the day.
Eve is currently starring in Steven Spielberg’s new film, Disclosure Day and while filming the movie, she invited her co-star Emily Blunt over for dinner.
She revealed her father, Bono, immediately started trying to speak in the alien language from the film to the English actor.
Speaking on TODAY in the States, Eve joked: “Ah, he’s such an embarrassing dad.
“He texts me reviews on things, he’s very involved. But we had Emily over for dinner, and the minute she walked in, he started doing the alien language she does in the trailer, and I was like, ‘Please stop, like, please.'”
It’s not the first time that Eve has opened up about Bono going into total dad mode. She previously revealed that the U2 frontman would drive her and her siblings to school when they were children so they could spend time together.
“He would drive in his dressing gown and his shades and in the traffic on the Blackrock Road. He liked to put on Backstreet Boys and turn it up really loud and get out of the car and start dancing in the traffic, and we were so humiliated.”
Well, it looks like rockstars can even embarrass their kids!
