Eight Pride events happening in Dublin

Pride Month is one of the biggest cultural celebrations in Dublin’s social calendar, with events across the city highlighting the LGBTQ+ community, visibility, nightlife, sport and activism. From major public celebrations like the Annual Pride Parade to smaller community-led events, this year’s calendar reflects the diversity of queer spaces and experiences across Ireland.

Whether you’re looking for drag performances, queer comedy, sports events, live music, or simply a place to celebrate with friends, here are eight Pride events taking place across Dublin this month.

The Dublin Pride Parade returns on Saturday, June 27, once again transforming the city centre into Ireland’s largest celebration of LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusion. Taking place under this year’s theme, “One Story, Many Voices,” the parade highlights the shared connection between LGBTQ+ people across generations, identities and lived experiences.

More than 100,000 people are expected to attend, with participants gathering along O’Connell Street from 12.30pm before marching through the city centre past Liberty Hall, crossing the River Liffey and finishing at Merrion Square for Pride Village celebrations. The parade lasts approximately two hours, with no registration required for individuals wishing to take part.

This year’s Grand Marshall is author and activist Philippa Ryder, whose work with TENI and Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride has helped shape LGBTQ+ advocacy and visibility in Ireland over the past two decades.

Pop ‘n’ Bottles Karaoke at The George

Taking place at The George on June 13, Pop ‘n’ Bottles Karaoke promises a full night of drag, pop music and late-night entertainment hosted by DJ Conor Behan alongside Veda Lady and Davina Devine.

Running from 8pm until late, the event combines karaoke, DJs and live drag performances in one of Dublin’s best-known LGBTQ+ venues. Entry is free before 8pm and €10 afterwards. Pop’n’Bottles Karaoke info

Bingo with Shirley Temple Bar


Hosted by Shirley Temple Bar, one of Ireland’s best-known drag performers, Bingo with Shirley Temple Bar takes place at The George, 89 South Great George’s Street, Dublin 2 on a weekly basis throughout Pride month, including Sunday nights in June 2026.

Running for over 20 years, the long-standing LGBTQ+ nightlife staple blends bingo, comedy, drag performance and audience interaction, alongside music from DJ Karen Reddy. The night has become a key part of Dublin’s queer social calendar, known for its high-energy atmosphere and inclusive crowd.

Token Straight Pride Month Extravaganza – Queer Stand-Up Comedy


Hosted by Hysteria Comedy Club, this Pride-themed edition of Token Straight takes place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Sin É Bar, 14-15 Ormond Quay Upper, Dublin 7 on the Dublin quays.

The night brings together drag, clowning and queer stand-up comedy for one of the city’s most community-focused Pride events, featuring a line-up of comedians Francis Breen, Heidi Stemp, Jess Spencer and Enda Danite, alongside host Felix O’Connor.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with the show beginning at 8pm. The event runs until approximately 10pm, offering a mix of comedy, performance and queer nightlife culture in an intimate venue setting.

Dublin Pride Run


The Dublin Pride Run takes place on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Phoenix Park, Dublin 8, bringing together over 2,000 runners and walkers for Ireland’s largest LGBTQ+ sporting event.

Organised by Dublin Front Runners, the 5km run begins at 7.30pm, under the theme “We Belong.” The event celebrates inclusivity, movement and community while raising funds for HIV Ireland, Midlands LGBT+ Project and Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre.

Although the event is now sold out, donations remain open online, with proceeds supporting LGBTQ+ health services and community programmes across Ireland. Dublin Pride Run 2026 Donation Link

Summer Sports Day for LGBTQ+ Women and Non-Binary People

The Summer Sports Day for LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Wanderers F.C., 65A Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Running from registration at 12.30pm, the event offers inclusive taster sessions in football, tag rugby and frisbee for all ability levels. Organised as both a social and sporting gathering, the day focuses on accessibility, participation and community connection.

Activities run from 1pm to 3pm, followed by food, drinks and socialising in the clubhouse afterwards, with support from local sports and LGBTQ+ organisations such as The Phoenix Tigers LGBTQ+ Football Team, Emerald Warriors R.F.C, Studio Ten Photography, Dublin Lesbian Line, Conscious Connections and The Dublin Youth Ultimate Frisbee.

Pride Week Table Quiz 2026

The Pride Week Table Quiz takes place on Monday, June 23, 2026 at Street 66, 33–34 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, in support of Irish LGBTQ+ softball teams Gayscioch and Stoneballerz.

The quiz begins at 7.30pm, with raffle prizes and fundraising activities throughout the night to support both teams’ participation in the Gay Games in Valencia.

Hosted in one of Dublin’s most well-known LGBTQ+ bars, the event combines Pride celebrations with community fundraising, supporting queer sport and international representation. Link to Purchase Tickets

Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Festival 2026

The Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Festival runs from Tuesday, June 24 to Saturday, June 28, 2026, across multiple venues in Dublin city centre, culminating in the Pride March and Parade on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Centred around the theme “One Story. Many Voices,” the festival includes five days of cultural programming, nightlife events, workshops and performances across venues including Merrion Square, Button Factory, The Laughter Lounge, The Sugar Club and Collins Barracks.

Highlights across the week include the Official Pride Festival Opening Night at Button Factory on June 24 (7.30pm), Lavender Walk: Tonie’s Queer History Walking Tour of Dublin on June 25 (11am, Barnardo Square), and Pride Comedy Show at The International Bar on June 25 (8.30pm).

On June 26, events include Friday Night Live with Juno Birch at The Laughter Lounge (7pm), Queer Georgians: The Ladies of Llangollen at The Sugar Club (7.30pm), and Dyke Night at Opium (8pm).

The festival then builds into major weekend programming including the Mother Pride Block Party at Collins Barracks on June 27 (4pm) and late-night club events across the city, before concluding with the Pride Service at Dublin Unitarian Church on June 28 (11am) and themed Pride art events such as Neon Painting at Pawnshop later that evening.

Across five days, the festival brings together nightlife, culture, activism and performance, turning Dublin into a city-wide celebration of LGBTQ+ community and visibility. Dublin Pride Festival More Information
