Our favourite X Factor star Mary Byrne is set to take part in this year’s Cheerios Panto.
The chosen show this year will be the classic Sleeping Beauty.
The Panto will run for 6 weeks from December 7th at the Tivoli theatre in Dublin.
Mary will star as Good Queen Mary along side TV3s Alan Hughes who returns as the loveable Sammy Sausages and Rob Murphy who plays the outrageous Buffy!
“I’m so delighted to be performing in my favourite panto with the wonderful Alan Hughes in this year’s Cheerios Panto at the Tivoli Theatre as the Good Queen Mary this year,” Mary said.
The show is produced by the wonderful Alan Hughes and Karl Broderick, who said he is delighted to have Mary on board.
“It’s a thrill to have someone as beloved as Mary in ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and I can’t wait to choose the big belters for her to sing… I know she’ll bring the house down…Oh yes she will,” Karl said.

The 6 week run opens its doors on December 7th. The hugely popular panto celebrates 10 years at The Tivoli this year.
Mary follows a long line of celebs to grace the popular panto, including Rory Cowan, Brian Dowling, Pippa O’Connor, Nadia Forde, Donal Skehan, Bryan Murray and even Kodaline frontman, Steven Garrigan. More exciting cast announcements will be made soon.
