Guess who’s back!
Yes, Alan Hughes has made his grand return to Ireland AM following a break from the studio to focus on his pantomime Sammy, Buffy and the Beanstalk.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Ireland AM posted a sweet snap of a reunited Alan, Tommy and Muireann.

“Is that Alan Hughes in studio? Oh yes it is. Yes, he has returned and the gang is back together.”
The breakfast presenter took a short break from his hosting duties in December to dedicate his time to his panto.
So safe to say that he has been missed!
“Good to see the three of them back again,” commented one follower while a second wrote: “Welcome back Alan.”
Tommy and Muireann also took to social media to welcome their co-host back with Muireann sharing a behind-the-scenes shot of Tommy and Alan from the green room.
“We’re back bebe!” she captioned her post.
While Tommy shared his own post to his Instagram story, adding: “Nice to have the gang back together this morn.”
