This week’s episode of The Fall is set to leave viewers somewhat confused. In a teaser for the next instalment in the series, Jamie Dornan’s character, Paul Spector, can be seen tied up, wearing women’s underwear and heels.
Although the Irish hunk is well known for playing Christian Grey in the 50 Shades of Grey films, The Fall fans may be shocked to see this side of him. It hasn’t been confirmed if it is in fact Jamie or a body double being used in the scenes, but it appears to be Paul Spector either way.
DSI Stella Gibson discovers the salacious photos of the killer while he’s recovering in hospital, and they add new dimensions to the Belfast Strangler that the police never knew existed.
Speaking to her team she says, “These pictures of him, the bondage, the auto-asphyxiation, they introduce a new element of sexual behaviour.
“The sheer volume of garments suggest there were many fetish burglaries at the time. His journals talk of climbing scaffolding and finding windows open and doors unlocked.”
The Fall airs on BBC Two tonight at 9:30pm.
