Una Healy calls dating app experience “like fishing in a swamp”

Una Healy has given an insight into her dating app experience, and she isn’t too impressed with the dating pool.

The singer and mother of two is happily single at the moment, but she has had her fair share of poor experiences online.

“I haven’t been in a relationship in a long time,” she told The Sun.

“I’m enjoying being single, but I do have nights where I think: ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to cosy into?’

“However, I know it sounds cliched and corny, but I have all I need at home with my family.”

Una went on to say that she doesn’t want to “settle for anyone” — and rightly so!

She also gave some insight to her experience of dating apps, particularly celebrity dating app Raya.

“I went on and off Raya a few times – it was like fishing in a swamp,” she said. “I’m working hard on myself, I’m not looking at all. As my friend says: ‘I am gonna attract, not chase’.”

Una, who split from ex husband Ben Foden back in 2018, went on to say that she is not interested in situationships anymore.

“I haven’t had the best track record,” she said. “I’ve moved on so long ago from all that. You live and learn in life.

“I think that I’ve learned now what I don’t want and I’m going to have my non-negotiables, what I will not tolerate or put up with.

“I don’t want to do the whole situationship thing. I’ve done that, I tried that. It’s not very fulfilling. I’ve actually written a song about it.”
