Charleen Murphy has opened up about being afraid that she was going to be kicked out of Coachella over the weekend.

The Irish influencer attended the first weekend of the popular festival with her friend, Love Island star Lucinda Strafford.

Speaking about her time at the festival, she shared that she got into an altercation with a security guard as she tried to sneak into an exclusive area.

“We met some of Lucinda’s friends in there, and they were like, ‘Let’s go into artists.’ There’s general access, VIP, we have VIP, and then there’s artists passes, which is one up from that again,” she explained in a TikTok video.

“They were like, ‘Just come in with us and slide through the gate and sneak in.’ Lucinda went first with one of the girls and she got in no problem. I was like, ‘Okay fine, I’ll slide in as well.’

“Obviously, I get booted out. The [security] man reefed me out and was like, “Get out!” He said something really cheeky to me, I can’t remember what it was, but it was just uncalled for. I know I was sneaking in, but it was just mean, whatever he said.

“Then I was like, ‘Well, by the way, you need to tighten up on your security because my other friend just got in,’ and he was like, ‘Yeah, and she’ll be out with you in a second now.’ He was so rude.”

She went on to say: “Maybe it was called for because I sneaked in, but he did say something cheeky before I said something cheeky back.”

She added that Lucinda came back and they stayed in the VIP section.

“I thought originally I was getting kicked out of the whole festival and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe I’m getting kicked out before Justin Bieber is even on!’ But anyways, I got to stay,” she admitted.

Other than that one interaction with the security guard, she explained that she had “a ball” at Coachella.

“As a whole in general, I definitely would go back. A festival is what you make it I think,” she said.

“It’s who you’re with as a group. It’s your crowd, I don’t care about anyone else who is there. I don’t care if they’re dancing or not.

“Obviously it gets the energy up, but so long as me and my friends are singing and dancing and having a ball, I don’t really care about the people around me not doing that.”
