It was the dress on everyone’s lips at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards last week – and now Xpose star Lisa Cannon is auctioning off her controversial Vera Wang creation in aid of a good cause.
The tv presenter raised some eyebrows when she turned up on the red carpet in a very risque white and grey gown that flowed with ruffles – and now it can be in your wardrobe.
Lisa is joining some of Ireland’s favourite fashionistas who are clearing their closets and parting with their favourite pieces this May Bank Holiday weekend in Co. Clare to help raise money for the tragic situation in Nepal at the moment.
Winning Streak presenter Sinead Kennedy, Love/Hate’s Susan Loughnane and Fair City actress Aoibhin Garrihy have all hopped on board and will be selling some of their much-loved designer pieces including bags, shoes and accessories to name but a few.
The event is happening in conjunction with a larger emergency “Armada Support for Nepal” campaign to raise much needed emergency funds for Nepal’s Earthquake relief efforts. Famous faces including Rosanna Davidson, Lisa Fitzpatrick, Aoibhinn McGinnity, Amanda Brunker, Aoife Walsh and more have all donated a dress for the cause which will be auctioned off on the day.
The idea of the rail sale, which takes place at the Armada Hotel, Spanish Point, Co. Clare, is simple – the vintage fashion, barely worn or new, will be available at incredible knock-down prices, with over 40 rails to browse on the day.
Kicking off at 12 noon until 4 p.m on Monday, May 4, there will be prosecco and delicious petit fours on offer for the busy shoppers.
