Angela Scanlon might be making a return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom…
But this time, she could be swapping her dancing shoes for a hosting mic.
The Irish presenter, who won over audiences during her stint on the show in 2023, is reportedly being lined up as a potential new face of the series.
Angela previously competed alongside pro dancer Carlos Gu, finishing in an impressive sixth place and quickly becoming a fan favourite thanks to her warmth and wit.

Now, as speculation continues to mount over who will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, Angela’s name has firmly entered the conversation.
Reports suggest she impressed during recent auditions, putting her as a “frontrunner” for the role, according to the Daily Mail.
Of course, she’s not the only star linked to the job.
Familiar names like Rylan Clark, Emma Willis and Zoe Ball are also said to be in the mix, meaning competition is fierce.

The Daily Mail also reports that all three, along with Angela, are among the current frontrunners.
While nothing has been officially confirmed just yet, the timing would certainly make sense.
The new series is expected to return later this year, with preparations kicking off over the summer.
We’ll be watching this space closely…
