Laura Nolan has officially kicked off her wedding celebrations, jetting off on her hen party ahead of her big day with fiancé Matthew MacNabb.
The Dancing with the Stars pro took to Instagram to share a glimpse into the celebrations, posting a snap of herself standing in front of a plane with the caption “Hen Bound.”
She later shared a sweet photo alongside her mum and mother-in-law as the group prepared for their sunny getaway.
Adding to the excitement, pal Deric Hartigan also documented the trip, sharing a snap after landing in the beautiful Naples, Italy.
It comes as Laura puts the final touches on her wedding, with the couple set to say “I do” in Kilkea Castle this summer.
“Now I feel like I can actually think about it because I was so busy with Dancing with the Stars, my head was constantly in the studio. So we’re more or less there,” she said.
While most of the planning is complete, Laura revealed she’s still enjoying the final details.
“Now it’s just the little bits, the exciting bits – the flowers, the cake. It’s all so exciting. I’m really in it and I just can’t wait.”
One of those finishing touches includes picking up her wedding dress from Verona Bridal.
“It’s really emotional! I didn’t know how I would feel being in a wedding dress… but there’s a completely different emotion attached to your wedding dress, especially when the veil goes on.
“My mam was in floods of tears. I’m trying to make the most of each individual moment as it’s happening.”
As if wedding planning wasn’t enough, Laura and Matthew have also recently gone sale agreed on a new home together.
“It’s all go, it’s all exciting and we’re so delighted. We’ve found a place that we love. It happened at the right time for us,” she shared.
With her hen party now underway in Italy, it looks like the celebrations have well and truly begun.
