Taylor was actually on set when the show was filming in summer 2021, as her beau Joe Alwyn plays the show’s leading man Nick.
Filming took place in Donegal and Nothern Ireland and the 1989 singer stopped by to see him very often. With the pair having a great time during their stay and visiting plenty of local establishments and attractions.
The popstar even surprised the staff at the popular Belfast cocktail bar, The Tipsy Bird, where she posed with workers who described her as “lovely and kind.”
Sharing the photo on Instagram, they wrote: “We have some big news. Big news actually. The one and only @taylorswift graced us with her presence last Friday night”
“Taylor was here to support her boyfriend Joe who has just wrapped up filming the TV series ‘Conversations with Friends.’ We can confirm she is just as lovely as you would expect and was kind enough to take a picture with our team”
“Taylor, if you fancy being a Tipsy Bird another night in the future, you know where to find us!”
“Oh, and if anyone wants to join us for Margaritas that are good enough for T-Swizzle just click the link in our bio”
Irish singer Tiernán Heffron was performing in The Tipsy Bird on the same night, and also shared a snap of himself with the Evermore star. “It’s not every day @taylorswift walks into your gig and stays for your whole three hour set”, he wrote.
“She was the most lovely person! She asked how she could follow what I was doing and gave me a tip! Dreams do come true, ready and excited for what’s to come #22”.
