Aoife Walsh said “I do” this summer.
And VIP Magazine got an exclusive invite to her gorgeous Irish wedding day before her destination wedding.
“We had a total of 20 people including the kids so it was a really intimate affair – very relaxed, no stress or expectations,” she tells VIP Magazine about her legal ceremony.
“We held our outdoor ceremony in a local country hotel close to me here in Clonmel, Raheen House Hotel. From my mum’s 70th to my daughter’s christening, the venue holds very fond memories and was the obvious choice for us.”
The former Miss Ireland and her husband, Ben Nicholson, celebrated with family and friends in a stunning château after legally tying the knot in Ireland last month.
Taking to Instagram to mark the occasion, Aoife shared a romantic snap of her and Ben walking down the aisle, simply captioning the post: “Happy Ever After.”
For her destination wedding, Aoife looked every bit the fairytale bride in a breathtaking ballgown featuring a full princess-style skirt, an intricately embroidered corset bodice and a dramatic veil.
Ben looked equally dashing in a classic black tuxedo as the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle together.
