Storm Keating has admitted it was hugely important to make sure Ronan’s mother was a part of their wedding ceremony, so found a simple yet incredibly sweet way of doing it.
The newly-wed revealed that she wore Marie Keating’s engagement ring on the day she married Ronan, to make sure his mother was somehow part of the elaborate ceremony which took place in Scotland earlier this summer.
Speaking to the Daily Mail’s YOU Magazine, Storm said, “[Ronan’s siter] gave me their mam’s engagement ring to wear, which was an incredibly sweet gesture. I somehow felt even closer to her wearing that ring, and when Ro saw me wearing it at the altar, I know he did too.”
She continued, “It was very special that we could have that piece of her with us during what was the happiest moment of our lives.”
Meanwhile, Ronan has admitted that his new wife has inspired his latest album and he feels it’s the best one yet.
“I’m in a great headspace and the songs are all very optimistic and positive, “ he told The Sun.
“I’m at this place in my life, I feel very secure. It’s all optimism and hope – it’s because of this woman. I feel very lucky,” he said.
