Stephanie Davis has had her dreams of taking part in Strictly Come Dancing dashed as she was left out of the celebrity line-up.
According to reports, the former Hollyoaks star was looking forward to the possibility of competing in the show, but it simply wasn’t meant to be.
“Stephanie was hoping the talks that were talking place with Strictly Come Dancing would see her taking part in this year’s show,” a source told The Sun.
“But unfortunately they didn’t want to be associated with her at this moment in time so have quashed any chance of her appearing now or in the future.
“She is devastated. She was hoping this could be her big come back!”
Meanwhile, Ruth Langsford is counting down the moments until she can put on her dancing shoes and get started.
“I have dreamt about doing Strictly for so long,” she said. “I can’t quite believe my dream has come true!
“The sum of my dance experience is throwing a few shapes at a party, I’ve never had a dance lesson in my life.
“Without a doubt, it will be the scariest yet most exciting thing I’ve ever done.
“It will be a welcome change worrying about my next hot move instead of my next hot flush!”
Ruth’s hubby Eamonn is absolutely thrilled for her, saying, “My lovely Ruth is taking to the Strictly dance floor. Wish her well! I’m so proud but nervous for her!”
