The adorable 6-year-old originally won the hearts of the nation during his appearance on the Late Late Toy show in 2020, talking about his brittle bone condition, Osteogenesis imperfecta, and giving Ryan  a hand-drawn card of a virtual hug.

The virtual hug was later printed onto cards and mass produced, raising money for Adam and various charities across the nation.

But yesterdays match marked the first time he and Ryan shared a real hug. Capturing the moment, Ryan wrote; “And after two years, 5 times on the (The Late Late Show) and all the lockdowns … finally … a real hug.”
