Ronan Keating has opened up about his holiday of a lifetime, sharing how it was a real ‘stop moment’ for them.
Sharing that he and wife Storm went on a safari together for their honeymoon in Africa, where they experienced an unforgettable moment. Chatting on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast ‘Journey to the Magic’ he told the story of how the two saw the ‘big five’ in their natural habitat:
“That was a real ‘stop moment’ in our lives. We woke at 5am and went out when it was dark, and slowly watched the animals come to the water”

“They were in the order that they were, since the dawn of time. Remarkable just to see them, and we were lucky enough to see the big five — incredible. That was one of those really spiritual moments in my life”
From the trip of a lifetime to the more attainable travels, many of us experienced as children. Ronan also said that he has amazing memories of holiday in Kerry when he was a child.
“That was our family holiday every summer. We’d stay in the same bed and breakfast, do the same things — that was tradition. We didn’t travel abroad. We were a working-class family. So that was a magic, special, experience for me”
