The X Factor returns to our screens tomorrow night for it’s 14th season, and we’ve decided to take a look back at the best, funniest and cringes moments from the talent show to get us all in the mood!
1: When a girl punched her friend in the face
Who can forget the two (not so) best friends Abbey and Lisa. These two auditioned together back in 2010 and when their audition took a turn for the worst, we got one of our most memorable X Factor moments of all time. (Cheryl’s face….)
2: When Zayn refused to dance
We’re sure Zayn Malik looks back on this moment and laughs, but it was a serious cringe moment for all involved at the time. Who knew he would gracing the covers of Vogue and dating the world’s biggest supermodel eight years later?
3: When Calvin Harris rushed the stage during a Jedward performance
Yeah, we forgot about this one too. This hilarious moment from Calvin and his pineapple back in 2009 lead to him being banned from all Simon Cowell tv shows for the next six years. It made for great tv though!
4: When Sharon and Louis couldn’t hold it together
An oldie but a goodie. We all enjoyed laughing along to the terrible auditions at home, but it’s so much better when the judges lose their cools completely, making it more than awkward for the poor act standing in front of them. Go on, try not to laugh.
5: When Louis Walsh repeatedly stated the obvious
This is an ongoing favourite moment for us. Louis always seems to give us quality television viewing by just stating the complete obvious. Never noticed? Now you won’t be able to hear anything else!
We can’t wait for the X Factor to hit our screens again this weekend!
