Taylor Swift tickets are the hottest commodity.

The American singer announced that she would be bringing her record-shattering Era’s Tour to Irish shores in June.

Trying to get tickets to the concerts, which will take place in the Aviva Stadium, had people ripping their hair out and wondering what exactly a wait list was.

But if you were lucky enough to get your hands on tickets then you know that there were also rules that came along with them.

It was previously confirmed that the three gigs were lead booker events. If you’re still scratching your head about what that means then worry not, it simply means that the person who bought the tickers would have to be in attendance for the shows.

This meant that people were worried if they had got tickets as presents or their tickets had been transferred to them that they would be turned away at the Aviva doors.

Now Ticketmaster has confirmed an update to the policy.

Ticketholders received emails from Ticketmaster that explained that they have removed the leader booker policy.

The email reads: “We’re reaching out in case you were not already aware, to remind you that the terms and conditions relating to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour shows taking place in Ireland this summer, have been updated by the promoter.

“The ‘lead booker’ policy has been removed, meaning that the person whose name is on the Ticketmaster account used to purchase tickets is no longer required to attend the event. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.”

Taylor will begin her tour of Europe in Paris on May 9th, she will play three shows in Ireland between June 27th to 29th, before wrapping things up in London’s Wembley Stadium on August 17th.
