Majella O’Donnell spoke out about suffering from depression on last night’s Late Late Show.
The star of B&B Road Trip was speaking to host Ryan Tubridy when she revealed why she speaks so openly about her experiences and her mental health.
The 58-year-old, who previously battled cancer, went through a divorce before meeting her current husband, country music star Daniel O’Donnell.
“I went through a lot of depression and my marriage breaking down,” Majella told Ryan Tubridy.
“I was really surprised because I didn’t think that it was private. I just threw it out there.
“Why would you apologise for something that’s happening to you that you have no control over? You don’t apologise from being a diabetic or for having heart trouble
“For me, it was just a matter of fact,”
“I have it so soon long, I know that signs of when I am going down”
