Nadia Forde has has said she’s the “happiest she’s ever been” with her new boyfriend Dominic Day – and despite only being together a few months, the couple have decided to show off their love in a glossy magazine spread.
The model turned singer and her Welsh rugby beau have proved they are smitten as they posed for OK! Magazine, with Nadia telling the publication that before ‘Dom’, “It was just me and the cats for three years!”
“He makes me feel like I’m part of a team. This is definitely the happiest I’ve ever been in a relationship,” she gushed.
The pair were introduced by Dom’s friends and they have been enjoying a modest romance until now, rarely sharing pictures on social media like many other celebrity relationships.
Nadia admits she feels more grounded with her new man in her life, and added she’s looking forward to seeing Dominic play in the upcoming Rugby World Cup.
“I didn’t even watch the selection and didn’t think I had a hope of being picked, so I was one of the last to know I’d been selected,” he said. “Rugby is very big in Wales so I do feel the pressure, but my family and friends are so proud.”
It’s been a tough few months for Nadia, as her mother Berenice passed away following a battle with cancer in June, but she added that her boyfriend has been there every step of the way.
“Dom was away at the time but sent a big, beautiful bunch of flowers, apologising that he couldn’t be there with me, at that moment, on that day,” she said. “I completely wasn’t expecting it but was so touched.
“I still have the card in my purse,” she said.
