Lisa Murphy has revealed that the gym has become the new love of her life following her break-up with long-time love Gerald Kean, the celebrity lawyer with whom she has been involved, on and off, for the past decade.
The 43-year-old has been keeping her self busy since the split and has divulged that she’s been spending a lot of time at the gym and with her family.
“I’ve been getting fit and enjoying my family.” she told The Irish Mirror. “I’ve become obsessed – I’m a gym bunny now. That’s the new love of my life. Especially spinning. I never thought I would.
“I said to one of my girlfriends ‘No, that’s too hard’, But I went anyway and now I literally love it. I go four days a week,” she continued.
“I took up boxing as well which I never thought I would enjoy. I took it up in the last couple of months. I had more time to myself so I thought ‘What does every woman turn to’ I suppose.”
In an exclusive interview with VIP, Lisa recently opened up about her break-up with Gerald and said that she has absolutely no regrets when she reflects on her relationship with the solicitor.
“I don’t have any bad feelings about any of my relationships,” she told VIP. “They were important times in my life, great experiences and I don’t do regrets. I believe everything happens for a reason and people are brought together for a reason. I don’t look back negatively on any of my boyfriends. To be honest, I’m a very private person and I’m always in good form. I don’t do negativity.”
