Irish solicitor Gerald Kean has waded in on Kim Kardashian’s burglary nightmare that took place in Paris last week.
The Celebrity Operation Transformation star said that Kim’s robbery was “stupid,” considering the amount of security she has, and that the reality star never should have fallen victim to such a frightening ordeal.
Speaking to RSVP Magazine the solicitor recalled when a similar situation occurred in his own home in 2011. His former partner Lisa Murphy was tied up while thieves took five pieces of expensive jewellery.
“Lisa was tied up for four or five hours and her wrists were bleeding from the tape. I came home because I couldn’t get her on the phone and I was worried, I thought it was a car accident, I never expected it was a robbery.
“They went into the house, and like the Kim Kardashian robbery, they knew what they were after, they went with five items, they left everything else, it was like they hoovered the house before they left the place it was so clean.
“They were in the house for about four and a half minutes, they put a knife to her throat and said they were going to cut it until she opened the safe.
“They took my engagement ring that I bought her, a watch that I bought her, and some jewellery Michael (Flatley) bought and that is it.
“The silly thing about Kim Kardashian is that she has security, unlike Lisa. It is really stupid, I don’t know how it could happen to someone like her,” he said.
