New Irish girlband Liir are finding their feet in the music industry – and are being advised along the way by none other than Eurovision legend Linda Martin.
The glam band, made up of Leanne Moore, Michele McGrath and Kim Hayden, had originally formed with hopes of representing Ireland at this year’s Eurovision competition.
But after losing out on their bid, they decided to stay together and are expected to take the charts by storm – with veteran singer Linda lending a helping hand by sharing her tricks of the trade.
The stunning trio have just returned from Sweden, where they teamed up with successful songwriters, including One Direction hit maker Savan Kotecha, to work on their new music and shared this pic on their Facebook page, which was captioned: “Our trip in Sweden was incredible, Linda Martin is the best team leader.”
VIP’s Ciara Sammon caught up with the exciting new girl group recently, and you can read the full exclusive interview in May’s edition of VIP Magazine.
Chatting to VIP, Leanne told us: “Linda helps us out in any way she can. She even sits in with us at rehearsals and does harmonies with us. Anything we need, she’s there.”
Fellow member Kim added: “She really believes in Liir too, which is what we really need. She’s brilliant!”
Ciara got on so well with the bubbly new band that she tried to become a fourth member…. Do you reckon it could happen!?
