September is here and that means that we have brand new TV to watch.
Or if you don’t want to curl up in front of the telly, there are plenty of great new films hitting cinemas this month as well.
Here’s what we’re watching this month…
The Gentlemen Season 2
It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas.
As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound.
Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…

The Incomer
Set on a remote Scottish island, two siblings survive by hunting seabirds, retelling the stories of their ancestors, and defending the isle from dreaded ‘Incomers’.
Their world is upended with the arrival of an awkward council worker who has come to uproot them from their homeland.
We can’t wait to watch Domhnall Gleeson’s new film!

Neagley
Reacher fans will be delighted to explore the world even more with this spin-off.
Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.
When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.

The Love Hypothesis
Based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Ali Hazelwood, The Love Hypothesis follows Olive (Lili Reinhart), a brilliant PhD candidate focused on her future in academia.
But when she realises her best friend Ahn (Rachel Marsh) has fallen for her crush Jeremy (Nicholas Duvernay), Olive impulsively kisses intimidating professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman) to prove she’s moved on. What begins as a desperate act of friendship spirals into a fake relationship with rules, boundaries, and a mutually beneficial agreement.
When their arrangement begins to blur the lines between performance and reality, Olive is forced to test her most daunting hypothesis yet: that love might actually be worth the risk.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story
This is the fourth instalment in Netflix’s “Monster” franchise.
This time Ryan Murphy explores one of the United States’ most prolific horror stories. Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe. However, she was acquitted in a shocking trial.
We’re sure the fictionalised version will be much more scandalous than the true story.

Pressure
In the 72 hours leading up to D-Day, all the pieces are in place except for one key element – the British weather.
Britain’s chief meteorological officer James Stagg (Andrew Scott) is called upon to deliver the most consequential forecast in history, locking him into a tense standoff with the entire Allied leadership. The wrong conditions could devastate the largest ever seaborne invasion, while any delay risks German intelligence catching on. With only his trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon) to confide in, and haunted by a catastrophic D-Day rehearsal, the final decision rests with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser).
With only hours to go, the fate of the war and the lives of millions hang in the balance.

The Traitors Ireland
The Traitors Ireland returned for a second season with a whole new batch of contestants heading to Slane Castle.
The show has already kicked off and safe to say we’re glued to the reality show.

Practical Magic 2
Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, Practical Magic 2 returns to a world steeped in moonlit mischief and powerful ancestral magic, as the Owens sisters must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic and mayhem.
Joey King, Lee Pace and Maisie Williams have also joined the cast.

Youth
The HBO Original comedy series Youth has been created by and stars Sharon Horgan.
YOUTH follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son.
We’ll also see Cillian Murphy’s son, Aran, in the show.

Bad Apples
Maria, a primary school teacher doing her best to inspire a class of 10-year-olds, is stifled by one unruly and chaotic student.
With her career in question and the child’s behaviour spiralling, she makes a series of bad decisions that lead to her accidentally taking and locking this “bad apple” in her home.
Maria tries desperately to backtrack, but when the class starts flourishing and the staff and parents are thrilled with the improvement, she finds herself in a very complicated predicament.

Brothers
This comedy chronicles a fictional version of the lives of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, whose strong friendship is put to the test when they decide to live together with their families at McConaughey’s Texas ranch after Harrelson’s daughter’s wedding falls apart.
While at the ranch, McConaughey and Harrelson uncover a family secret that the two might be brothers.

Sense and Sensibility
The story tells the tale of two sisters, Elinor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Marianne (Esmé Creed-Miles), as they navigate love, loss and expectations of them following the death of their father, which leaves them in financial uncertainty.
Daisy stars as Elinor Dashwood, one of three sisters who are forced to leave their family estate with their widowed mother and move to a humble cottage. Caitríona Balfe stars as Mrs Dashwood.

The Paper Season 2
The documentary crew that immortalised Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.
In season two, after sweeping the Ohio Journalism Awards, Ned searches for a journalistic crusade, coming for a local private club and jeopardising the paper, while he and Mare try to figure out their attraction, Esmeralda struggles to find her place, and the staff gradually mature as reporters.

MobLand Season 2
In the upcoming season, the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire.
