Gogglebox Ireland is set to return to screens this month with a brand-new season.
And the show is kicking things off with a seriously star-studded celebrity special!
The popular Virgin Media Television series will return on Wednesday, September 9 at 9pm, with a host of famous faces taking to the sofas to give their very honest opinions on some of the biggest television moments.
Among those joining the celebrity edition are Ryan Tubridy and Mark Wogan, who will be putting their own spin on the latest TV offerings, while broadcaster Claire Byrne will be joined by Ciara Doherty.
Love Island stars Fitzy and Lola are also swapping the villa for the Gogglebox sofa, while Kerry Katona and Alison Spittle are sure to provide plenty of laughs.
Elsewhere, Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O’Donnell will be joined by Ian O’Reilly, while Olympian Ciara Mageean teams up with Dublin GAA legend Michael Darragh Macauley.
There will also be plenty of familiar television and radio faces in the mix, with Ian Dempsey and Mario Rosenstock, Brian Dowling Gourounlian and Lottie Ryan, and Muireann O’Connell all taking part.
The celebrity line-up continues with Liz O’Kane, Siobhán McSweeney and her best friend Jess, I’m Grand Mam’s PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey, as well as Dr Katriona O’Sullivan and Elaine Cruz.
UK stars Ricky Tomlinson and Asa Murphy will also feature, alongside Kyla Cobbler and Mike Rice, while Eric Roberts, Elaine Crowley and Karen Byrne round out the impressive cast.
With such a mix of broadcasters, comedians, actors, sporting stars and reality TV favourites, viewers can expect plenty of strong opinions, hilarious reactions and, no doubt, a few unexpected clashes.
The celebrity special will mark the beginning of Gogglebox Ireland season 12, with the regular series following as viewers settle back in for another season of watching their favourite households react to the week’s biggest TV moments.
And with this many familiar faces around the sofa, it looks like the new season is set to get off to a very entertaining start.
