Laura Fox couldn’t be happier.
Usually a shakeup in the 2FM studios brings some stress to those behind the mic but the radio presenter has never been happier.
The new schedule means that she is now on air for not one but two hours and she is surrounded by her best pals.
VIP Magazine’s cover star Bláthnaid Treacy has a brand new weekend show as does Emma Power and Roz Purcell. And to Laura, it’s the best “sandwich” in the world.
“I’m absolutely loving it! I get an extra hour. I am surrounded by my best friends,” Laura tells us as we chat at the Platinum VIP Style Awards launch.
“It is such a great environment to be in at the minute. I come into work and I get to see Bláthnaid and see is the most fun person in the whole entire world. She is a bundle of energy and it sets me off to a really nice tone.
“When you go into good energy you can only end up giving that back out again. I’m in there for two hours and then Emma and Roz come in, they bring coffees, they bring pastries, they bring gossip. It’s really good fun. I’m in a really nice sandwich at the minute.”
