It has been confirmed that Alanna Quinn Idris will no longer appear on tonight’s Late Late Show.
The teenager was due to join the line-up that includes members of the Irish Rugby team and podcast hosts, PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey.
However, it has been confirmed Alanna won’t take part in the show.
Alanna was blinded in one eye after being attacked on December 30th, 2021.

She was due to join host Ryan Tubridy in studio this week to discuss how her life changed that day, what it was like giving her victim impact statement in court this week and her long road to recovery.
RTÉ confirmed the news stating: “Update to this week’s Late Late Show line up: Alanna Quinn Idris will no longer appear on tomorrow night’s Late Late Show.”
The rest of the line-up remains unchanged with rugby stars Dan Sheehan, Josh van der Flier and Andrew Porter stopping by to chat about the incredible win with Ryan.
I’m Grand Mam’s PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey will be on the couch to chat about the success of their podcast.
Laura DeBarra is also back for The Late Late Big Repair Challenge!
