Karen Koster left The Six O’Clock Show earlier this month to the shock of viewers.
However, she didn’t stay away for too long!
She was back on our tellies on Monday morning as she stepped into her former Ireland AM role.
The presenter was filling in for Alan Hughes as he focuses his energy on his panto for the season that’s in it!

And obviously, everyone was delighted to have her back in the studio.
Ireland AM shared a picture of Tommy and Muireann beaming with Karen with the caption: “MAGIC MONDAY. Good morning. We’ve got a familiar face back in studio as Alan is on Panto Duty.
“We’ll be talking tech, parenting & I’m A Celeb’s finale so stay with us! Muireann, Tommy & Karen are live until 10am!”
Introducing her back to the Ireland AM set, Tommy said: “Now, you thought that she might have stepped away. She gave the big goodbye.”
“Thought she was gone,” Muireann added as the pair pretended to cry, “She was like, ‘I’m gone. I’m never coming back.’ She’s still here, she just showed up.”

Karen joked that she should have pulled a “Bobby Ewing” before saying: “It’s so nice to be back, of course, back to my old stomping grounds and I am happy to cover whenever Alan needs me.”
Viewers were delighted to see Karen back on our screens.
