Jeremy McConnell has been left devastated after his father passed away on Friday night, following a short battle with cancer.
The tragic news comes just weeks after Jeremy became a father for the first time to little Caben-Alibi.
A representative for Jeremy told the Mirror Online: “On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell’s father passed away after a short battle with cancer.
“We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time.”
This isn’t the first time the reality star has suffered a devastating loss, as he lost his mother, brother and sister all died within 15 months of each other when he was just a teenager.
“When I was fifteen I was at my cousin’s and my mum fell asleep.” he said.
“I got back about two hours later and she was gone – she had a brain haemorrhage.
“Shortly after that my brother broke his neck in a motorbike accident.
“After that, my sister had a heart attack – she suffered with epilepsy. All in the space of fifteen months.”
Jeremy is yet to speak out about his father’s tragic death, but yesterday, just hours after his father’s passing, he took to social media to share the first picture (above) of himself with his newborn son Caben.
