Jeremy McConnell is yet to meet his son, Caben-Albi, despite sources claiming that he had an “emotional reunion” with ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Davis and the newborn.
Last week Jeremy revealed himself to be the father of Stephanie Davis’ son, and sources close to the Irish model said that he had since met little Caben and re-united with Stephanie.
“Jeremy spent the weekend in Liverpool and finally got to meet his son for the first time – and spent some time with Steph too.” a source told The Irish Sun.
“It was an emotional reunion between him and Stephanie but close pals were glad to see the pair finally putting their past behind him.”
However, Jeremy’s friends have rubbished these claims, saying he has not yet met his son, but is eager to do so.
“It is so bizarre that Jeremy seems to think he has met his baby, nothing could be further from the truth.” they told the Irish Mirror.
“We know that Jeremy really wants to meet his son, but to tell a national newspaper he has seems a little odd. We can only think Jeremy wants to bolster his image as a decent dad – but this isn’t the right way to do it.”
Stephanie is yet to comment on Jeremy’s recent admission of paternity.
