Jeremy McConnell has broken his social media silence after his father passed away last week.
The Irish model’s father passed away last Friday following a short battle with cancer. This isn’t the first time the reality star has suffered a devastating loss, as his mother, brother and sister all died within 15 months of each other when he was just a teenager.
The tragic news comes just weeks after Jeremy became a father for the first time to little Caben-Alibi.
A representative for Jeremy told the Mirror Online: “On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell’s father passed away after a short battle with cancer.
“We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time.
The former Mr Ireland has remained quiet on social media since his father’s passing, but last night he took to Instagram to share a snap of himself looking besotted with his new born son.
We hope little Caben is helping Jeremy get through this difficult period in his life.
