Irish designer Aoife McNamara showcases latest collection at Paris Fashion Week

Irish designer Aoife McNamara was blown away when she watched her collection be modelled on the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

The Limerick lady is the mind behind AOIFE IRELAND which has been worn by the likes of Suzanne Jackson and Louise Cooney.

Now she has returned to Paris, where she worked as a fashion intern, to showcase her beautiful collection.

Aoife shared some behind-the-scenes moments ahead of the show, admitting: “Showcasing in The Ritz Paris.

“Honestly felt like a dream!! Thank you so much to everyone for the beautiful messages and support it honestly means the world!!”

She then shared some incredible shots of her runway show as well as herself walking hand-in-hand with a model during the finale of the show.

“What a magical moment this was!! My face says it all.. squeezing” poor @meggi_ndrio hand for dear life!!

I honestly just want to say thank biggest thank you to every single person who messaged us over the weekend!! Your support really does mean everything and without it I wouldn’t have been walking that runway!!!”

She was inundated with congratulatory messages from her pals, with Rozanne Purcell writing: “AMAZING.”

“Wow that’s amazing Aoife – you should be so proud,” Erika Fox AKA Retro Flame wrote.

“Wow! Huge congratulations!” Muireann O’Connell commented.

While Niamh O’Sullivan added: “Incredible.”

Aoife McNamara launched her own fashion line, AOIFE IRELAND, in 2019 after selling her unique designs through her Instagram. Soon after she opened her flagship store in a thatched cottage in the heart of Limerick which acts as a home for Aoife’s designs as well as the creations of local artists.
