Conor McGregor’s manager Audie Attar has released a statement following his clients release on bail.

Conor has been released by the NYPD after posting $50,000 bail, as ordered by a judge in a Brooklyn court this week.

Following the incident at The Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, the 29-year-old MMA champion’s future in the UFC has been put in serious doubt, but now, Attar has revealed that Conor is hoping to get back fighting as soon as possible.

“So much rumour and misinformation about my client Conor McGregor,” he posted in a statement on Twitter.

“The matter is in the hands of law enforcement and I cannot really say more.

“Conor is a great father, a fierce loyal friend and one of the best athletes in the world.
