George Hook made a shocking revelation on TV3’s Seven O’Clock Show yesterday evening, when he opened up about sex in the media industry.

Speaking to Martin King and Lucy Kennedy yesterday, George began discussing his recent Newstalk contract and any plans he has for retirement, however the conversation quickly turned controversial when Lucy asked the rugby pundit if he had any more plans to continue writing “naughty books”.

George began writing an erotic novel last year, and is no stranger to a sex story.

Oh wow...
Oh wow…

He claimed that there was a misunderstanding about his books, and then went on to make a shocking statement that sex is commonplace in the media industry.

“There was a slight misunderstanding of naughty books, primarily propagated by The Seven O’ Clock Show on TV3. It is a book about a radio station, owned by an eccentric billionaire.

“However, as we in media all know, the amount of sex that goes on in the industry is unbelievable, so I couldn’t really write about a radio station or a television station talking about what goes on all the time off air” he said.

The announced stunned the Seven O’Clock Show panel which also included comedian Alison Spittle, who also features on Newstalk.

George even asked Alison to back up his statement, but she declined.

He said “Alison back me up here, you know what goes on in Newstalk.”

George never ceases to cause a stir but this one really caught us off guard!
