Doireann Garrihy has updated followers on the progress of her home renovations, confessing they most likely won’t be finished till the autumn time.
The Dubliner purchased the home in late 2022.
Opening up on Instagram, the comedian visited the site while chatting to fans. Saying: “So, finally, things are up and running with the house since the start of this week actually.”
Explaining the delay, Doireann admitted: “I bought the house in October and I completely underestimated how long it takes to get the plans done to renovate, and the over and back and the different ideas and solidifying things.”
Giving followers a rough estimate of when the work will be done, she shared: “So this week the work started and hopefully, no later than like, definitely Autumn, eh, yeah 100 per cent the house will be ready to go.”
Doireann also shared a snap of her new home while under construction.
Writing: “Quick house pit stop.”

Revealing the news on Instagram, the radio presenter shared a video of her new house. Captioning her post: “All I wanted for Christmas this year was a garden for Bertie…Christmas came early.”
“That makes it sound easy It’s been a wild ride, but we’re homeowners. Now to turn a shell into a cosy spot for 2 (wait for him giving out to me about wanting to go outside).”
